Classic. Classic products can accommodate 4mm glazing and come fully equipped with slimline, durable frames. Providing exceptional style, functionality and performance, they keep homes quiet, warm and secure.
Enhanced. Everything you’d expect from secondary glazing but with ultra-strong aluminium frames that support up to 10.8mm glass for enhanced noise reduction and thermal insulation. Our enhanced frames are super-sleek for superior, unobtrusive aesthetics.

From horizontal and vertical sliders to tilt and turn windows, CR Smith secondary glazing works seamlessly with the mechanics of your original windows whilst complementing your window aesthetics, including the colour as closely as possible.Â
Our easy clean system also means that no matter what format you select, CR Smith secondary glazing is purpose built to allow easy cleaning, both inside and out.
Fixed unit
Best paired with: rooms where space is limited
Our fixed units are an independent window that is permanently fitted on the inside of the existing window.Â
Horizontal slider
Best paired with: any window with vertical bars
Suitable for a range of windows, including both casement and fixed, our horizontal sliding units open from side to side and are slim, versatile and easily accessed for both cleaning and ventilation.
Vertical slider
Best paired with: sliding sash windows
Opening from top to bottom, our vertical sliding units are also available with a special slide pass or tilt in function, which enables both panels to individually pivot inwards for easy access and cleaning.
Arched and bespoke units
Best pair with: any window that is curved or a non-standard shape

Hinged unit
Best paired with: casement, patio and large sash windows
With no transoms or mullions to spoil the view, our hinged secondary glazing windows are a truly unobtrusive glazing option. The unit opens like a door and is available with a multi-point locking system or butt hinges.
Lift out
Best paired with: windows that only require occasional access
Similar to our fixed units in concept and design, but with the ability to easily remove the frames to allow for increased airflow and improved access for cleaning.
