If you are changing your existing structure from a polycarbonate or glass roof to a solid roof, under Scottish building regulations, an application must be made to your local authority for a building warrant. A structural engineer’s report would also be required. It’s also worth noting that to get the relevant permission, there must be an additional source of light in the connecting room, for example, another window or door.
We will complete the necessary drawings and applications on your behalf. We’ll ensure the transformation of your existing conservatory looks fantastic and fully complies with the standards and regulations required.
