Choosing your perfect new living space can feel quite overwhelming, and you only get one chance to make sure it’s right. So, at CR Smith we start with our virtual reality design service. Firstly, we’ll discuss your thoughts and ideas to completely understand what will best enhance your life and your home.
From a simple photograph of your house we’ll create an incredibly realistic 3D model and a 360º virtual reality walk around, so you can experience your new space before it’s built. We’ll produce as many designs as you want, free of charge and without any obligation. It’s like having a team of architects working on your project.

Orangerie
The Orangerie. Living at its most fruitful.
A Lorimer orangerie provides a further imaginative option for those looking for something a bit different. Consisting of a partial solid ceiling yet retaining a glazed Smartglass roof, orangeries give a more enclosed feeling while still flooding the room with natural light. We can complete the look with our unique climate control system, integrated downlighters and even a Sonos sound system.
Sunroom
A Lorimer sunroom is the modern equivalent to a conventional extension. It features continuous, panoramic windows rather than walls so you can make the most of your views and you can also include patio or French doors to truly integrate your new space with your garden.
Conservatory
A traditional conservatory can be designed to suit any property type and will create a unique space filled with natural light, giving it a completely different feeling to any other room in your home.
Our specification includes Smartglass roof glazing, opening hoppers throughout and a climate control system that can heat and cool at the touch of a button.
Lorimer refurbishment
Make the most of an existing conservatory by fitting new energy A-rated Lorimer windows and doors, and your choice of either a super-efficient Smartglass® roof with optional orangerie detailing, or an alternative hybrid tiled roof. Internally will also be given a complete makeover with new plasterboard, flooring, electrics, heating and timber sills and skirtings, giving you a completely new space to enjoy.

- You’ll have a dedicated project manager for the duration of the build, making the process as simple and stress-free as possible.
- We will draw up your plans and apply for any necessary local authority permissions.
- Our tradespeople are fully qualified and our joiners and builders are continually trained, meaning you can relax knowing you will get the highest standards of workmanship.
- We’ll coordinate all interior finishes including heating, painting, electrics and flooring, so you don’t need to find your own tradespeople.
- We’ll look after you and your home with our comprehensive 10-year guarantee, which comes with a unique 24-hour emergency call-out service and is fully transferable should you decide to move in the future.
