The Lorimer Range in Anthracite Grey brings cohesion to this Balloch home

Glasgow & West of Scotland

Mr and Mrs Bell were looking to upgrade their windows and doors to an anthracite grey finish to bring cohesion to their family home after having a mismatch of finishes for numerous years. Having done thorough research, they decided to go with CR Smith due to our strong brand reputation. Living in Balloch, situated north of Glasgow, they were well ad versed with CR Smith, due to our previous, renowned sponsorship of both Celtic and Rangers.

Mr and Mrs Bell’s home is located on the shore of the river Leven and has three sets of patio doors onto a terrace that overlooks the river. The patio doors were the main element that they wanted to upgrade as their previous patio doors were a combination of two timber and one aluminium finish. The mismatch in the finishes had been something the Bells had overlooked for years and now that the installation is finished and the upgrade complete, they are taken aback by the new striking look the Anthracite Grey finish brings.

Internally, they opted for a white uPVC finish to bring a fresh, clean look to the home, while the anthracite grey exterior finish complements the wooden terrace and contrasts beautifully against the roughcast and brickwork of their home.

Keeping a cohesive finish across the house, the Bells upgraded their front door to a composite TimberLuxe Tux door with two side screens complete in a frosted glass finish, and upgraded their windows to Lorimer Casement windows complete with chrome handles for a modern look. They worked closely with the design expert to ensure that all their requirements were met while complying with Building Standards (Scotland).

Having discussed the upgrade with Mrs Bell post-installation, she commented on how smooth the whole process was and how delighted they are with their new home improvements.
