Lorimer Windows with Oak Finish Rejuvenate Fife Family Home.

The old windows were 23 years old, with timber frames. Mrs Read had noticed a lot of condensation on the windows after moving into their ‘forever’ home. They were upgrading the whole house and new windows were vital to bring the property up to date. They wanted a style of window that was low maintenance and easy to clean.

The samples that their Sales Representative Tommy brought along to their appointment were enough to convince Mrs Read of the quality of the windows.

Mrs Read thought that the workmen were brilliant and explained everything they were doing

She was particularly impressed with the bathroom window – there was no damage to the surrounding tiles and the room is much brighter now.

The installation has made a huge difference to the inside of the home. The old windows were dark whereas the new white frames are much brighter and let in more light. There is no more condensation and Mrs Read likes that she can now lock her windows open at the top to let some air into her home but also feel safe at the same time. 

The oak internal finish is also a great addition to the look of the home and now matches the skirtings and furniture.
