Returning Customers Upgrade to Oak Finished Windows

Having replaced windows with CR Smith in a previous property, Mr & Mrs Angus had no hesitation in contacting CR Smith again. The family were excited to introduce oak finished windows in their new Aberdeen home. 

The existing windows of the Aberdeen home proved to be quite draughty, this was most noticeable in the couple’s main living space which features panoramic windows and views of the garden. “We spend most of our time in here as it has perfect views out to the garden but we noticed how draughty the original windows were”.

As returning customers, Mr & Mrs Angus knew they could rely on CR Smith to solve the problem with ‘A’ energy-rated Lorimer windows, while also providing their home with a completely new look.

The couple chose American light oak uPVC window frames on the exterior to complement the render and brickwork of the bungalow. The colour was matched on the interior and each window and door has been finished beautifully with royal oak American hardwood timber sills and surrounds. All of which are crafted by our highly skilled joiners to ensure a perfect finish. 

Our sales consultant then specified Lorimer window styles that best suited the bungalow and the opening requirements for each room. Casement windows in the bedrooms, kitchen and dining area, and reversible windows open out in the sunroom, to not disturb any ornaments on the window sills. 

A Lorimer uPVC front and back door were specified to complete the full transformation and complement the windows. The doors have a range of security features, which ensure the new owners can be confident in the security of their new home. 

The installation process was smooth and simple and took place 10 days before Christmas, giving Mr & Mrs Angus a much cosier home, exactly when needed. Now that the draughts have been eliminated Mr Angus said “Our home feels warmer and more comfortable than before and our whole family has commented on the beautiful finish. I’ve never seen it so well done.” 

The views of the garden have never looked better.
