Personal and Professional Care with Lorimer uPVC Windows
Edinburgh, the Lothians & BordersMr Turner reached out to CR Smith, looking for a window manufacturer and installer who could replace the windows in his home to complement his interior aesthetic. Having spent a long time in the building and design process to create his dream home, it was vital to Mr Turner that his new home improvements would complement his interior decor.
Opting for white uPVC casement windows, our design consultant, Tommy, mentioned to Mr Turner that CR Smith could match his existing colour scheme to his new timber sills and surrounds. Mr Turner was delighted with this as not only would it complete the look, keeping it cohesive throughout the home, but it would also remove a large painting task from his list post installation, as our painters and decorators would do that for him.
Mr Turner was delighted with his experience of CR Smith from start to finish, mentioning how ‘warm, friendly and professional’ everyone at the company had been.
The home is now complete to Mr Turner’s requirements, creating the perfect relaxing space to return home to after a day at work.
‘A genuine, personal and professional level of care’
“Part of the reason for designing the house the way it was, was just to have somewhere that was calm and relaxing. I have quite a busy job, and quite an important part of the discussion with the architect was what colour to use.
I went through quite a long process to work out what the best fit with all the woodwork in here and we landed on this quite soft, warm cream colour which I’ve used everywhere throughout the house.
It’s on the walls, it’s on the ceiling, it’s on the skirting boards, in every single room and that helps it have a warm, cohesive, relaxing feel throughout the house and I’m really pleased with it.
So, when the salesman came out, he was really friendly and I think instantly he appreciated the effort that I’d put into the rest of the house. In discussion with him, he said ‘you know we could look at colour matching the surrounds of the windows to the rest of the house’ and for me that was really important.
It just took one other job off the list and having been through a long building process, somebody coming in appreciating the need to match what I had done elsewhere in the house and take responsibility for doing it, and tying their work into it, was really really important to me.
I think when you’re having work done to your home, you do want to be comfortable about who you’re bringing in and you do want them to share a respect for your home because it’s an important place for you.
The whole process was really straightforward, I didn’t once feel like I was being told anything other than the truth and that’s really important when you’re dealing with works to your home.
From start to finish I have to say that the experience with CR Smith has been a real pleasure. From Tommy’s initial visit, his follow-up visits, to the surveyor visit and the installation, everybody has been warm, they’ve been personable, they’ve been professional, they’ve been friendly and they’ve just been careful.
I think that’s what for me has set the experience apart. Just a genuine, personal and professional level of care to me as the customer.’
