All Lorimer windows and doors are precision engineered, the majority of which are made at our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. For certain specialist products, we work with hand-picked suppliers so we provide only the best home improvements for you.

From computer design and machining to the more traditional skills of glazing and hand finishing, every member of our team at our manufacturing plant works to ensure your windows are built to the highest standards, to look both beautiful and stand the test of time.
Our latest investment of over £3 million in new machinery and equipment means that the products we manufacture continue to be the best we can build and a solid investment for you and your home.
Fabrication.
Each window or door is batched into groups to optimise our production schedule and minimise waste. The uPVC is cut, welded and cleaned by machine before being hand-finished on our fabrication line where we fit the mechanically jointed transoms and security hardware.
Our glass plant precision-cuts jumbo sheets of glass into millimetre perfect sizes which are then hermetically sealed into double glazed units.
The frame and glazed units are then fitted together to create the finished window.
